How we lay the track

From the engineers’ first site visit to the moment the first train runs on the new line — five stages of one route.

  1. 01

    Consulting

    We visit the site, carry out topographic surveying and geotechnical consulting. We assess the existing infrastructure and draw up the terms of reference.

  2. 02

    Engineering Design

    We develop design documentation in line with Kazakhstan standards, pass expert review and agree technical solutions with the client.

  3. 03

    Construction

    We perform earthworks, track superstructure laying and construction of engineering structures with our own equipment and crews.

  4. 04

    Commissioning

    We run in the track, adjust turnouts and the signalling system. We prepare the facility for acceptance testing.

  5. 05

    Operation

    We hand the facility over to the client with a full set of as-built documentation. On request, we support track operation and maintenance.
